John Edwards - Archetype of Humanity

This is who we are. Squeaky clean on the outside. Sadly corrupt to the core on the inside. How do Darwinsits explain this?

"Darwinsits"? I'll give you a pass on the typo, but it's not called Darwin's Theory anymore, therefore the term "Darwinist" is anachronistic at best.

Secondly, having seen people capable of both stunning cruelty and equally stunning kindness, sometimes even the same person, I reject your false dichotomy.

I think I'll continue to use it (spelled correctly I hope), but thanks anyway.

Did I make it seem that we're incapable of kindness? Oh I'm sure we are capable, all of us.

In fact I'll bet Edwards stroked his wife's hair and said, "I'm sorry your chemo makes you sick, honey" right after coming back from screwing his mistress.

I'm not being facetious. We have the ability to be kind and destroying all in the same action.

Preachers are proverbial in ignoring their families while doing "God's work."

I'll bet there's an atheist or two who has done something similar.
