“This type of universe, however, seems to require a degree of fine tuning of the initial conditions that is in apparent conflict with ‘common wisdom’.”

Which universe? This universe? Or some other one?

The quote is out of context. Are they speaking of the standard model or the anthropic hypothesis? They could be speaking about tunneling or ekpyrotic models. You haven't clarified.

I am continually baffled why you would even quote modern cosmologists, since the majority of their cold hard science does so much to disprove your Christian worldview, regardless of whether a few quotes fit whatever your agenda for the day might be.

Instead of detracting from your beliefs in this way, you would be better off to incorporate these quotes into your argument and use them as support, but if you won't do that much, then I need not worry about your position being plausible, as nothing as unconvincing--which means to say unsupported--will likely persuade me or change my mind.

And if not, then why do you bother blogging? I mean, if you had a well supported and clearly stated argument, I'd love to hear it. But quoting random soundbites which are mainly irrelevant to your position does not seem to aid your arguments in the least. FYI
