American Music Awards

As secular culture celebrates the best it has to offer, progressive atheists find their poster boy in Adam Lambert.

My first thought was "Who?" then I thought it was probably something you need to be Canadian/USA to understand.
So I wiki'ed it and it says this man's religion is Jewish, not that I really care one way or another.

I think, and I could be wrong, that he is an openly gay performer who came from American Idol. And, he is good looking.

By the way, the King of Generalizations is calling him an atheist poster boy. I am an atheist, and I know very little about him. Just what I wrote.

Never heard of him. Then again, I'm not a "progressive" anything.

I think you're conflating gay and atheist, my dear. They're not the same thing.

Who knows what the King means? Perhaps he is generalzing good looks with atheism.... Maybe being outspoken?

Who is Adam Lambert? Is he the guy from "Highlander"?

Sheesh, I think I've been in Japan too long. I have no idea what Makarios is talking about.

I suppose I could Google it. But is it at all pertinent or important? I think I shall read a good book instead.

Peace out!

I saw it on the news last night. Apparently, he is a young, openly gay singer. He kissed a boy and insinuated oral sex during his performance at the AMA's on the weekend. So, logically, because he is "shocking", we all love him. Even though hetero performers have been doing this for years.
