The Study that Says - Duh!

http://www.cbc.ca/health/story/2010/01/15/hpv-infections-new-couples.html

Our government paid someone to “discover” this!

The presence of HPV in one partner was the strongest predictor of finding the same strain in the other partner, the team found.

"If one partner was infected with HPV, the other partner's chance of also being infected with the same type increased over 50 times," Burchell said in an email. "One does not need to have many sex partners to get HPV. Simply having one infected partner is enough to pose a very high risk for HPV infection."

Who would have thought?

They didn't pay to discover that, that's merely one of the findings. Scientists state even the incredibly obvious because some people are incredibly stupid.

I think the HPV vaccine should be standard for all women, and men, too. The only reason the vaccine is administered to women but not men is because women can develop if cancer infected with certain strains, whereas there appears to be no health concerns with men beyond warts. However, vaccinating both genders while young could make the deadlier strains of this disease obsolete.

Mak doesn't hate science. I'm sure he goes to the doctor when he's very ill, like everyone else who has any sense. He's probably just angry that people are studying STD's when God told us millenia ago to stop having sex with people (case closed, no more to learn here). Maybe the money should be going to creationists to fund studies of how God can be observed in nature.

God can be observed in nature.

You can't observe Jehovah-he's hiding so he can send more people to Hell. For his amusement.
