Prophecy of Israel
1948 was the first time since 70 A.D. that the people of Israel have been brought back to control their homeland.
Ezekiel - 37:21 (Written 597 years before the birth of Christ) - For the Lord God says, “I am gathering the people of Israel from among the nations and bringing them home from around the world to their own homeland, to unify them into one nation.”
Ezekiel 38:12 - “I will go to those once desolate cities that are now filled with people again, those who have returned from all the nations, and the whole earth revolves around them. This will happen in the distant future, in the latter years of history.
The new state of Israel now contains people who have come from 100 different countries, speaking 60 different languages and the trek homeward continues to this day.
Zechariah 12:2,3,7, & 9 (Written 520 years before the birth of Christ) - I will make Jerusalem and Judah like a cup of poison to all the nearby nations that send their armies to surround her. Jerusalem will be a heavy stone burdening the world and though all the nations of the world unite in an attempt to move her, they will all be crushed. For my plan is to destroy all nations that come against Jerusalem.
I just read recently that while the United States could not be considered a religious government, “from it’s inception” the US government has "always" based it policy with the Jewish people according to the Bible’s statements that they are God’s chosen people.
Zechariah 2: 4 & 7 - Jerusalem will some day be so full of people she won’t have room enough for all. I scattered you to the winds, but I will bring you back again.
This is the whole problem with Palestine and Israel right now. There is not enough room for all of the Jews coming home and they are building settlements in Palestinian territory.
Atheists claim that these prophecies came true by accident, without supernatural intervention. When that assertion is challenged, they display the same reaction as they use in response to their ridiculous claim that "Nothing brought everything into existence."
"It could happen."

Ezekiel
"but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid."
"my people of Israel dwelleth safely"
"And David my servant shall be king over them"
"And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant"

Where has anyone said "these prophecies came true by accident"?
their ridiculous claim that "Nothing brought everything into existence."
Who claimed that? Does not the Bible claim creation ex nihilo?
Where has anyone said "these prophecies came true by accident"?
How many options are there, Glen?
==========
Who claimed that?"
Process of eliimination, I guess. If there wasn't anything and then there was everything . . .

"Does not the Bible claim creation ex nihilo?"
That space, time and matter did not exist is not the main issue here, Glen. The main issue is that "Nothing" became "Everything" because of "SOMETHING," NOT because of nothing.
Where has anyone said "these prophecies came true by accident"?
How many options are there, Glen?
At least four, including self-fulfillment.

Before time the word "before" is meaningless. Depends on your definition of "nothing".
At least four, including self-fulfillment.
And you believe that one of those four apply to the existence, disappearance and coming into being of the country Israel?
And you believe that one of those four apply to the existence, disappearance and coming into being of the country Israel?
No. Countries exist. Countries disappear. Countries come into being.
Nothing miraculous about that.
But NO, Glenn! It is maraculous because if you read these verses about the return from the Babylonian exile... oh ignore the verses around it... oh...
o.k. that didn't happen... I mean... YET
Woooo, isn't it amazing!
Well, it's probably my ignorance then. Being older than I am, perhaps you remember some situations where the same thing has happened?
Countries exist. Countries disappear. Countries come into being.
Eritrea disappeared and reappeared.
Examples of countries that disappear or have come in being in the last hundered years:
Kosovo
Yugoslavia
Czechoslovakia
Gran Colombia
Prussia Sikkim
Tanganyika and Zanzibar
Hey since 1990, 33 new countries have been created.
Chris, you don’t seem to understand the situation nor the question.
SITUATION:
A thousand years before it took place, your Creator and mine foretold that He would scatter the people of Israel around the world. This was because of their relentless and continuous disobedience. He also said that “far down the line, in the latter years of history” He would bring this country back into existence AND that He would make this nation, this tiny little nation of Israel the centre of security issues for the whole world.
This has happened exactly as foretold.
QUESTION:
Glen says that this is just the normal course of history. As I am obviously ignorant regarding historical events I asked, “Would you please give me examples of other times that similar situations have taken place?”
Makarios, since the Jews have those exact prophecies written down and widely available to them, and since there are many nationalistic (Zionist) Jews who created pressure to create the state of Israel, do you not think that these may be connected? Like maybe the Zionist Jews wanted to create the state of Israel because the prophecies said so? It is not miraculous for someone to specifically manipulate a situation in order to fulfill a prophecy. This isn't rocket science here. It's not like God pointed his finger one day and said, "Boom! State of Israel, BEGIN!" These were the efforts of people. There is nothing miraculous about forming a nation.
"It is not miraculous for someone to specifically manipulate a situation in order to fulfill a prophecy."
Ok, maybe you'reright. Tell me, Jeff, if I'm on scent with you here:
"Hey! Everybody, let's all leave Israel and move to as many countries as we can."
"You mean give up our homeland?"
"Ya, that's right. We're just going to give it up. But we'll be back. In fact, in exactly three thousand years, we'll meet back here on this very spot."
"But if we leave, somebody else is going to take our land!"
"That's ok. I'm going to raise up this guy called Hitler and I'm going to get him to kill about 6,000,000 of us. And then my cousin Viny is going to mention to the butcher Sol who also works at the UN that maybe it woudn't be such a bad idea if we all just moved home agiant and bata bing bata boom, there we are - Prophecy fulfilled."
"Your a genious Morty! An absolute genious."
=================
Jeff - you mean something like that? Since it's such an easy thing to do, and since you and Glen think so much alike, gimme some othe examples - ok? You know, just to verify your theory and all.
The Zionists mentioned were a political group with the aim of making the prophecy come true.
Chris, please listen carefully.
The prophecy:
. The nation of Israel would disappear.
. The people of Israel would be scattered throughout the nations of the world.
. The nation of Israel would come back into being.
. The nation of Israel would become a key to the security, or lack thereof, for the entire world.
Do you get that Chris? Is any of this sinking in? In order to make the prophecy come true, Chris, the people of Israel would first have to get out of the country of Israel. The country of Israel would have to be torn from them. The Temple that took Herod 36 years to build had to be destroyed.
This was prophesied, Chris. Are you suggesting that some sort of pre Zionist organisation orchestrated the demise of Israel so that further prophesies of Israel’s return could come true at some date in the future?
Then these Zionists that you speak of would have convinced almost all of the Jews living in Israel at the time to move to many different nations. That too is part of the prophecy, Chris. They could just go to Egypt, or Babylon or Syria. The prophecy states that they would be scattered around the world. As I noted, they have returned from, so far, 100 different nations. How did these pre Zionists get that to happen Chris?
Then, under the direction of these Zionists - nothing. Nothing would happen. They just let things be for thousands of years. Why? Because the prophecy says that the nation of Israel will NOT come back into being until “the latter days of history.” How did they keep this plan going for two thousand years Chris?
Are you into conspiracy theories much?
Then, how does someone, Chris, someone who is almost universally hated convince his historical enemies to reinstate his nation?
And, how does he make his tiny nation, not only survive, but survive at the expense of his enemies who grow more numerous and more destructive as the years go by?
Enlighten me, would you please?
-Enlighten me, would you please?
You don't want to be enlightened you want to wallow in superstition.
Are you suggesting that some sort of pre Zionist organisation orchestrated the demise of Israel so that further prophesies of Israel’s return could come true at some date in the future?
No. Stop being retarded.
That a nation dissolves isn't strange. It happens. The people go elsewhere.
The Zionist were a politic movement that started in the 19th century. It's not a conspiracy theory. It's fact.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zionist
They knew the prophecies.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_Zionism
A political movement knew the prophecies and was created to try and fullfil them.
It's not magic.
I can't remember the guy's name now but I've got another Nazi hanging around this site.
Do you two guys comment on each other's blogs?
Seriously? Are you honestly being serious? You think it is somehow miraculous that a person can see their nation crumbling around them and say, "Hey guys, we've been ripped apart at the seams here, but don't give up hope - we'll be back!" This is just pure nationalism being spouted off - "you can't keep us away forever! This land is ours!" The same nationalism that created the "prophecy" also later created a movement toward fulfilling that prophecy.
Is it so hard to imagine that people who felt a strong attachment to their former country wanted to make it a country again? Is it so difficult to see how a person in the midst of exile would try to give his people hope to say that they'd have their homes back someday? If the United States ever had the same thing happen today (unlikely, but just imagine it for the sake of argument), you'd have plenty of modern-day Ezekiels running around saying, "You can't keep us down forever! This is our land! We'll get it back!" You'd have American nationalists constantly pressuring the UN to recognize the United States as a country once again.
Just think about it. Seriously.
Good grief - you and Flute are a matched set.
"Do you two guys comment on each other's blogs?"
No. I don't know any nazis. They'd hate me. And the white supremists would hate me.
The only things I hate are hate and wilfill stupidity.
If it wasn't thru governments, how do you think Isreal was (almost) restored. (Isreal isn't as big as it used to be) Do you think Jesus magiced the country together with no governments involved?
Well, leaving the organisation is bound to make them hate you.
I can't remember the guy's name now but I've got another Nazi hanging around this site.
You would have to reference this with other quotations pertaining to National Socialism in order for it to have any brevity in the preconcieved, Christian notion.
"Well, leaving the organisation is bound to make them hate you."
Ha ha. It would be my skin that would make them hate me and the fact that I've fucking fought them.
This is my real name.
I am not and have never been a nazi.
What is 'nazi' about history?
Do you think no-one knew the prophecies?
Do you think that no-one was working to return Israel?
---------------------------
The World Zionist Organization (Hebrew: ההסתדרות הציונית העולמית), or WZO, was founded as the Zionist Organization (Hebrew: ההסתדרות הציונית), or ZO, in 1897 at the First Zionist Congress, held from August 29 to August 31 in Basel, Switzerland.[1] The ZO served as an umbrella organization for the Zionist movement, which aimed at creating a Jewish State of Israel in the region then known as Palestine.
In January 1960 the ZO changed its name to the World Zionist Organization. The WZO's headquarters is in Jerusalem.
The point is Chris, they would first have to fulfill the prophecy to destroy the nation of Israel.
Then they would have to fulfill the prophecy to scatter the Jews throughout the world.
Then they woud have to fulfill the prophecy to reinstate the nation of Israel, NOT soon but "in the latter years of history,"
Then they would have to fulfill the prophecy of bringing back Jews from around the world
Then they would have to fulfill the prophecy of making Israel a pariah to the world.
You are picking one small element and saying, "See! Nothng to it." I ask once again, of both you and Glen. If this is a natural course of history, give me some other examples.
Oh, and about the Nazi stuff. I was in a mood. I shouldn't play with peole like that. It was wrong.
