(CBC) In an effort to respond to the public’s demand that more be done to curb drug abuse, Toronto’s police service has added an innovative strategy - Police keep all proceeds from any bust they make - minus the drugs of course.

Toronto police commissioner Tyler “tin badge” O’Connell reports, “Morale is at an all time high. The guys on the street are even asking to come in on their days off. I’ve never seen anything like it.”

The auto industry in Ontario, hard hit by the downturn in the economy has noticed a spike in new car sales as have RV dealerships. “This is a win-win-win situation says, UAW spokesperson Sheila Haberstock. The cops finally get a pay raise, hard working Canadians get to keep their jobs and the drug dealers start giving something back to the community.”
