George Carlin on Censorship

"Censorship that comes from the outside assumes about people an inability to make reasoned choices."

An inability to make reasoned choices. Hmm, you mean like the making, selling and buying of snuff movies, or child porn, or any porn or videos that demean women or sitcoms that mock healthy relationships or a pop culture that sexualizes our children for no other reason than to make money off their souls, and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on . . .

Carlin was such a loser idiot!

Freedom of speech means nothing, if it is taken to mean only the freedom to express views approved by the Government, or those that nobody finds offensive. If the term is to mean anything, it must surely include the freedom to give offence.
